Welcome to SOCES NEWS, the temporary home of SOCES MEDIA. We are currently transitioning to our new home on the world wide web which will premiere later this year. In the meantime, this is where you’ll find all the latest efforts from the students in the Sherman Oaks CES Yearbook and Journalism class as they work tirelessly to bring you all the latest news and stories concerning the SOCES community and the world at large.

Also look for the digital issue of The Knight Times, which will be posted here. During remote learning, we have been forced to suspend our publication of the student newspaper. However, we will be bringing that to you in a digital magazine format. In the meantime, all the news and features articles can be found right here.

Sabrina Guedalia
Hi! My name is Sabrina Guedalia and I’m a senior. I’ve been at SOCES since 4th grade and I’ve been in media class for 3 years. As an editor-in-chief of new media, I run the @socesmedia Instagram page and help with other tasks in the class. Some of my hobbies include playing guitar, singing, and painting. I am looking forward to making this year’s media class productive and enjoyable, even though distance learning! :)

Hi my name is Zoë Howes and I am a senior at SOCES! I am a Chief Editor in New Media, and I love my job so much! My main role is that I produce/write the Broadcasting videos and I write a variety of articles. My dream is to be a journalist at a big newsroom like MSNBC. I can't wait to see what the future holds and I am proud to be a part of this amazing team.
